Aviator vs Other Crash Games: JetX, Spaceman, Aviatrix and More
Every crash game runs on the same idea: a multiplier climbs, you cash out before it stops, and the house keeps a fixed share over time. Aviator, JetX, Spaceman, Big Bass Crash, Aviatrix and Crash X differ in the details: the RTP, the cap on a win, the number of bets per round and one or two signature buttons.
Here they are side by side, with the source for each number. Where sources disagree, we say so. No game on this page is a better bet in the long run than its RTP allows.

Aviator, JetX, Spaceman and Others Compared
The short answer: Aviator and JetX share the highest commonly quoted RTP, 97%, and both allow two bets per round. Spaceman and Big Bass Crash pay back less on paper but add a Cashout 50% button. Aviatrix adds upgradable planes. Crash X keeps the classic format with a low cap on profit.
These games often sit in the same lobby row. On our April 2026 screenshot from 1win, Spribe’s Aviator tile sits next to JetX and Aviatrix on the Crash games tab. They are separate games from separate studios, not versions of Aviator.
Operators see them as one genre too. Betsson told Gambling Insider in November 2025: “After Aviator, our next best-performing crash games would be Spaceman and Big Bass Crash… and then JetX.” That is a popularity remark from one operator, not a quality ranking.

Aviator from Spribe’s official site and the in-game rules. Spaceman and Big Bass Crash RTP from Pragmatic Play’s pages for Spaceman and Big Bass Crash. Casinos can change limits and, for some games, the RTP.
How Each Crash Game Differs from Aviator
Aviator is the reference point here: one plane, a multiplier from 1.00x, up to two bets with their own Cash Out, and a crash point fixed before the round starts. Spribe states an RTP of 97%. The win per bet is capped in money by the casino, not by a multiplier. Each game below changes one or two of those pieces.
JetX (SmartSoft Gaming)
JetX is the closest relative. A jet climbs instead of a propeller plane, and it explodes instead of flying away. You get two bets per round, as in Aviator, and reviews list a bet range of €0.10–€100. Its Autocollect, the equivalent of Auto Cash Out, accepts targets from 1.01x to 1,000x.
The RTP of 97% matches Aviator’s, per SlotCatalog, Gambling Insider and SiGMA. SlotCatalog also notes a 98.8% version at some casinos. SmartSoft is based in Tbilisi, and by SlotCatalog’s date JetX went live about three weeks before Aviator. Gambling Insider dates it to 2018, so the exact launch is disputed.
Spaceman (Pragmatic Play)
Spaceman swaps the plane for an astronaut and adds one button Aviator lacks: Cashout 50%. You take half of your bet off the table at the current multiplier and leave the other half flying. Auto Cashout accepts targets from 1.01x to 4,999.99x, and the top multiplier is 5,000x.
Here is how Cashout 50% plays out with a $10 bet. You press it at 2.00x and get $10 back for the first $5. If you then cash out the second $5 at 4.00x, it pays $20, for $30 in total. If the round crashes before that, you end with the $10 you took, so the round breaks even.
The catch is the RTP. Pragmatic Play lists 95%, two points below Aviator. In money, that is $2 less back on every $100 wagered, in theory. Some casinos run a 96.5% version, which SlotCatalog lists, so check the rules screen at your casino.
Big Bass Crash (Reel Kingdom × Pragmatic Play)
Big Bass Crash brings the fishing theme of the Big Bass slot series into the crash format. It keeps the Cashout 50% button from Spaceman. Unlike Aviator, it allows one bet per round, so you can’t split a round between a cautious and a risky target. SlotCatalog lists bets from 1 to 1,000 and a top multiplier of 5,000x.
Pragmatic Play states an RTP of 95.50%, confirmed by Gambling Insider. That is $1.50 less back per $100 wagered than Aviator’s 97%, in theory.
Aviatrix
Aviatrix looks the most like Aviator, and that is why it is easy to mix up the two. Its own twist is progression: you own an NFT plane and upgrade it, and the upgrades work only in real-money play. SlotCatalog lists a 97% RTP, a 10,000x top multiplier and a €250,000 cap.
All Aviatrix figures come from one source, SlotCatalog, so treat them with care. Casino lobbies list it next to Aviator, and searches for “Aviator” often return it, so check the game name and studio before you deposit.
Crash X (Turbo Games)
Crash X comes from a studio called Turbo Games. It has nothing to do with the Turbo Games collection that Spribe sells under the same name. The game has a space theme and two bets per round, like Aviator.
The difference is in the numbers. SlotCatalog lists a 95% RTP, and profit is capped in money, at £1,000 per SlotCatalog. That is well below the Aviator win limit of about $8,330 we saw at 1xBet in April 2026, so a high target on a big bet can hit the ceiling quickly.
Other crash games you may see
Lobbies carry more titles. Gambling Insider mentions FlyX from Games Global and Balloon from SmartSoft among the crash games popular at LeoVegas; SlotCatalog says FlyX goes up to 10,000x. We haven’t collected verified data on them, so they aren’t in the table.
SmartSoft’s Balloon is not Spribe’s Balloon. Spribe’s own range is small: Aviator, Balloon, a single-player crash game, and the Turbo Games collection of Dice, Plinko, Mines, Goal, Hi-Lo, Mini Roulette, Keno, Keno 80, HotLine, Trader and Pilot Chicken. More on them on our Spribe page.
Which Crash Game Fits Which Player
No crash game is the best one for everyone, and none pays you more because you picked it. The right one depends on which feature matters to you. These pointers follow from the table above, not from any ranking.
- You want the most back in theory: Aviator and JetX state 97%, as does Aviatrix per one source. Spaceman, Big Bass Crash and Crash X sit at 95%–95.50%.
- You want to bank part of a bet mid-round: Spaceman and Big Bass Crash have Cashout 50%. In Aviator, two separate bets with different targets do a similar job.
- You want two bets in one round: Aviator, JetX and Crash X. Big Bass Crash allows one.
- You want to check each round yourself: Aviator. Spribe publishes how its Provably Fair system works, and you can check any finished round. We couldn’t confirm the same for the others.
- You like a game with progression: Aviatrix and its upgradable planes. Keep in mind that upgrades tie the game to real-money play.
- You want to know the cap before you start: read the limits screen. Aviator and Crash X cap the win in money, Aviatrix has both a top multiplier and a money cap, and the rest are quoted with a top multiplier.
Where Aviator stands out
- 97% RTP stated by Spribe itself
- Provably Fair check for every round
- Two bets per round with separate Cash Out
- No fixed multiplier cap; the casino caps the win in money
- Rain free bets, chat and live statistics
Where other crash games offer something different
- No Cashout 50% button, unlike Spaceman and Big Bass Crash
- No progression, unlike Aviatrix’s upgradable planes
- The money cap on a win is set by each casino, so it varies
- Its popularity attracts look-alikes and fake copies
What Every Crash Game Has in Common
Whatever the theme, the house edge is built in. The RTP tells you how much of all bets goes back to players over millions of rounds, and the rest is the casino’s margin. At 97%, every $100 wagered returns $97 in theory, a 3% edge. At 95%, it returns $95, a 5% edge. A single session can land far above or below that.
The crash point is random and, in Aviator, fixed before the round starts. Rounds can crash at 1.00x, right at takeoff, as Gambling Insider notes for the genre. Past rounds say nothing about the next one.
How often a target is reached
Crash games don’t publish their odds. A common model assumes the RTP is the same for every target, which makes the chance to reach a multiplier about RTP divided by the target. It is an approximation, not an official formula, but it shows how small the gap between games is.
| Target | At 97% RTP | At 95% RTP |
|---|---|---|
| 1.50x | 64.7% | 63.3% |
| 2.00x | 48.5% | 47.5% |
| 5.00x | 19.4% | 19.0% |
| 10.00x | 9.7% | 9.5% |
| 100.00x | 0.97% | 0.95% |
Our calculation: chance ≈ RTP ÷ target. Providers don’t publish their crash distributions, so treat it as an estimate.
How to Spot an Aviator Clone or Look-Alike
Aviator’s success brought copies. Some are separate games from other studios, such as Aviatrix, and an “Aviator” search can also bring up titles like Space Aviator. Others are fakes that use the Aviator name and design. Spribe and a Georgian company, Aviator LLC, are also in court over the name, so not every game called “Aviator” is Spribe’s.
When you open a game called Aviator, check these signs of the original:
- the loading screen and lobby tile name Spribe;
- the menu has Provably Fair Settings with a “Next server seed SHA256” line;
- Game Limits shows Minimum bet, Maximum bet and Maximum win for one bet;
- Game Rules include sections such as Bet & Cash Out, Free Bets, Rain Feature and Return to Player;
- the official demo runs on aviator-demo.spribegaming.com, and the only official site is spribe.co.
Spribe has no standalone Aviator app, so an “Aviator APK” from a third-party site is not the original. Sites calling themselves “Aviator official website” on other domains aren’t Spribe either. For more checks, see the original vs fake section on our Spribe page.

Crash Games FAQ
Which crash game has the highest RTP?
It’s a tie at 97% among the games we compared: Aviator per Spribe, JetX per independent reviews, and Aviatrix per SlotCatalog. SlotCatalog also lists a 98.8% JetX version at some casinos. Spaceman, Big Bass Crash and Crash X are at 95%–95.50%.
Is JetX the same as Aviator?
No. JetX is a separate game from SmartSoft Gaming. It works the same way, with two bets and a rising multiplier, but it has its own Autocollect range, design and limits.
Is Aviatrix a fake Aviator?
No. Aviatrix is a separate crash game from its own studio, with upgradable NFT planes. It isn’t a copy sold as Aviator, but its name and look make it easy to open by mistake, so check the studio name.
What is Cashout 50% in Spaceman?
It’s a button that cashes out half of your bet at the current multiplier and leaves the other half in the round. Big Bass Crash has it too. Aviator has no such button, but two bets with different targets give a similar split.
Are other crash games Provably Fair like Aviator?
It’s not confirmed by our sources. Spribe publishes how Aviator’s Provably Fair check works. For JetX, Spaceman, Big Bass Crash, Aviatrix and Crash X, we found no verified description, so look for a fairness check in the game’s own menu.
Can a strategy work better in one crash game than another?
No. In every crash game, the house edge comes from the RTP, and no cash-out pattern removes it. A game with a higher RTP returns more in theory, but every session can still end in a loss.
Play responsibly
Every Aviator round is random, and no app or pattern can predict when the plane flies away. Set a budget before you start, use your casino’s deposit and time limits, and never chase losses.
