How we review Aviator and check casinos
Every page on this site follows the same method. This page explains where our numbers come from, what we check, how we score Aviator, how we check casinos and how often we update.
Where the numbers come from
We use three layers of sources, in this order:
- Official Spribe data. Spribe’s Aviator page, its Provably Fair page and its license list on spribe.co.
- The game’s own screens. The Rules, Limits and Provably Fair windows inside Aviator. Spribe ships the full rules text with its official demo, and we read it there.
- Independent reviews. We compare each fact across several independent reviews and industry media. These include SlotCatalog, Bigwinboard, PokerNews, PokerListings, AskGamblers and Casinos.com.
For laws and licenses, we use regulators’ own websites and public registers. Examples are the UK Gambling Commission register, the Malta Gaming Authority and France’s ANJ.
When sources disagree
When sources conflict, we say so on the page and explain which figure we use and why. Two examples:
- Several reviews list a 10,000x max win as a game rule. The in-game rules cap the win per bet in money, not the multiplier. The operator sets that cap.
- Some sites quote an RTP of 97% to 99%. Spribe publishes 97%, so that is the figure we use.
Settings that depend on the casino
Many Aviator limits are operator settings: minimum and maximum bet, max win per bet and whether RTP is shown. Where a value depends on the casino, we say so. We also explain where to find it in the game menu.
What we check
So far, our first-hand material is the official rules text and the official demo. We have not run a recorded test session. No page on this site reports session results such as balances, multipliers reached or winning streaks.
Our next step is to check every figure against screenshots of the official demo. That covers the Rules, Limits, Auto and Provably Fair Settings screens. Where a screen disagrees with a published source, the screen wins.
If we run a test session, we will publish it with its method. That means the number of rounds, bet size, Cash Out targets, date and whether it was demo or real money. Results of short sessions vary widely and don’t predict yours.
How we score Aviator
We score Aviator out of 10 on four criteria. The overall score is close to their average.
- Gameplay: pace of the rounds, the two-bet panel, Auto Bet and Auto Cash Out, and how easy the rules are to follow.
- Fairness and transparency: Provably Fair, the published 97% RTP and how clearly the game explains both.
- Win potential: how the win cap works per bet, and what that means at common bet sizes.
- Features and design: Rain, in-game chat, live statistics, bet history and the interface.
We don’t score mobile play as a separate criterion. We have no recorded test on enough devices to back it up.
Scores are editorial opinions, not measurements. No casino can pay for a score.
How we check casinos
For each casino we list, we check three things:
- The license. We look up the license in the regulator’s public register, not only in the casino’s footer. If the register shows a status such as "in progress," we report it as shown.
- Aviator by Spribe in the lobby. A game called "Aviator" is not always Spribe’s game. Some lobbies credit a different provider. We check that Spribe is named as the provider.
- Country restrictions. We note where a casino says it does not accept players. We never claim that a casino is legal in your country.
If we can’t confirm the lobby or the license, the casino card says "Being checked." The order of casinos on the site is not a ranking. We don’t score casinos.
How often we update
We review every page at least every three months. We also update a page when:
- Spribe changes the game rules or its license status;
- a regulator takes action that affects Aviator or a listed casino;
- a casino changes its license, lobby or country list.
The "Updated" date at the top of a page changes only when the content really changes. Fixing a typo or a button is not an update.

Play responsibly
Every Aviator round is random, and no app or pattern can predict when the plane flies away. Set a budget before you start, use your casino’s deposit and time limits, and never chase losses.
